Liberty Threads, high performance sewing threads since 1965
Liberty Threads develops and produces high performance sewing threads for demanding applications: aerospace, aviation, defence, security and protective wear. From our facility in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, we engineer threads from fibers such as meta aramid, para aramid, PTFE and many others, built to perform where standard sewing threads reach their limits: extreme heat, flame, chemicals and mechanical load.
As a true Dutch manufacturer since 1965, we combine six decades of thread engineering with a modern production and dyeing facility. We supply customers in more than 50 countries across all continents, through local agents or directly to end users.

To answer the current and future requirements of the industry, we continually upgrade and expand our product lines in close collaboration with our customers and fiber suppliers. Our R&D department specialises in developing tailor made solutions to customer specifications, from aviation threads compliant to FAR 25.853 to sewing threads meeting military specifications.
